It is a derivative of the popular Orchestra Reference but it includes a tube upgrade from EL34 to the more robust 6CA7 industrial tubes and some proprietary internal tweaks. These changes produce a noticeable sonic improvement. The gold faceplates and transformer covers were replaced with black to give a more modern industrial look and reduce the cost.  As a result of the above effort, the Orchestra Black sounds better and costs less than its predecessor. The JA200 MkII includes two mono-block amplifiers each with its own separate power supply for a system total of four chassis. A no holds barred variant of the JA80 MkII on which it’s based, the JA200 MkII is available in balanced or single ended configuration along with 160 watts of Class A power and auto-bias. Using 4 ECC83 for voltage gain, the DPMC is an all tube MM/MC phono preamplifier with ideal RIAA correction. A tube regulated power supply, consisting of both an EL84 and EF86 tube, ensures absolute stability of this unit under all playback conditions. The MkII version features a new internal layout optimized for better isolation and input impedance selections between 48KΩ, 1KΩ, 300Ω, 100Ω for an optimal match with your cartridge. The JPS3 features an EF86 and EL84 tube regulated outboard high-voltage power supply which uniquely operates at 80Hz to provide superior low noise operation compared to typical power supplies which run at 60Hz.   The JPS3 features both a dedicated MM input using 3 x ECC83 tubes and an MC input using 2 x ECC88 and for voltage gain.
