The MW-1 Cyclone is the first and only record cleaning machine (that we are aware of) that vacuums dirt off the record clockwise and counter clockwise to really clean out the grooves. This motor is a high torque 18 RPM forward and reverse turntable motor. The MW-1 is housed in an aluminum water proof case with a welded stainless steel water tank which drains out the back. The bi-directional turntable motor allows for you to scrub and vacuum in both directions for the ultimate in deep cleaning. Professional quality toggle switches with 100 thousand cycle life.  The turntable motor is designed to last decades and is inspired by the original HW 16 which is still working 30 years later. The vacuum motor is so powerful it is rated to lift mercury 120 inches, sure to pull the grime off your records. All components are of heavy duty industry quality and this includes a 2 inch Delrin record clamp. In addition, the MW-1 Cyclone is quieter than the HW-16.5 and more durable with its aluminum casing. For good measure, we took the final model and kicked it down a flight of steps. That model is currently cleaning records in our listening room and can clean your record in under 30 seconds! That being said the roll down the steps did do a number on the paint job!

Harry Weisfeld's 2012 "Classic Direct" direct drive turntable was an outstanding technical achievement, earning Stereophile Magazine's Class A+ rating. This award-winning table was loosely based on the VPI Classic Series table technology and included a thick aluminum plinth and armboard and an inverted platter bearing riding on a PEEK thrust disc. The AT-ART1000 ("ART" for Audio-Technica Reference Transducer) is Audio-Technica's new flagship phono cartridge, handmade in Japan. Born of the pursuit of audio excellence that has driven A-T for more than 50 years, the AT-ART1000 introduces an innovative, audiophile design heretofore unseen in mass-produced cartridges.  The cartridge's direct power system places the dual moving coil directly on top of the stylus tip, ensuring that the audio quality does not suffer the negative effects normally introduced by the cantilever's length and material type. Having the coils move in such close proximity to the stylus tip allows the cartridge to vividly render even the most subtle sonic details and provide unsurpassed transient response. Each of the cartridge's two coils is constructed of 20 ¥ìm diameter PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) wire, wound eight turns to a diameter of 0.9 mm to create a non-magnetic core coil. The 3-ohm coils are placed in the tiny 0.6 mm gap of a powerful magnetic circuit, enabling each coil to generate an output voltage of 0.2 mV.

Building on the legacy of the Avenger turntable, the Titan is designed to handle up to three tonearms of any make or length. Utilizing a machined acrylic/aluminum/acrylic sandwich-design chassis on top of our pneumatic air-suspension isolation footers, the Titan is set to be the most stable, and isolation-oriented turntable in the VPI quiver of decks.  A further new design feature on the Titan is the implementation of analog-based oscillators to generate low-distortion analog sine waves for its 33/45-rpm motor assembly. According to VPI, using a regenerated AC-sine wave virtually eliminates any power line-associated noise from entering the electronic signal path.
