LUXMAN’s LMC-5 marks the return of moving coil phono cartridge production after a 40 year hiatus! This latest effort boasts a cross-mounted iron core, with unique signal generating coil structures, allied to an efficient compact magnetic system.  Record groove contact is achieved via a SHIBATA profile stylus mounted to an aluminum pipe cantilever enabling excellent tracing ability with low background noise. In addition, the unique and sonically advantageous housing structure was achieved through research, repeated prototyping and attentive fine tuning. We have developed the LMC-5 with confidence and appreciation for all who love vinyl playback and value its musicality.

Luxman LTA-710 Tone Arm

Newly developed, completely original tonearm  Specially developed for the PD-191A is our LTA-710 static balanced tonearm which employs knife-edge bearing technology for excellent initial movement sensitivity. A joint development with the audio brand SAEC, who have been designing tonearms for more than 40 years, the LTA-710 brings many highly regarded technologies to the LUXMAN turntable family. A fully-fledged original arm design that required two and half years to develop. By setting the effective arm length to 10 inches, tracking errors are further suppressed and resistance to vinyl surface vibration effects is enhanced. Even the gentlest of musical signals picked up by the phono cartridge from the grooves on the record are reproduced faithfully. In addition, the LTA-710 supports detailed settings such as stylus pressure, anti-skating, height adjustment according to the cartridge to be installed, etc., which is possible only because the tone arm is assembled with high mechanical precision to thoroughly maintain playback fidelity.

Compatible with various analog playback environments, including balanced connections for MC cartridgesThe E-07 features a slim chassis designed to match the width of LUXMAN’s separate amplifiers and integrated amplifiers, complemented by a blasted white finish front panel for design consistency. It incorporates the performance and diverse functions required for a modern phono equalizer amplifier, enhancing the enjoyment of deep analog playback. Our newly developed step-up transformer for MC cartridges utilizes a super permalloy core with high responsiveness to small signals. It comprises two independent units for each channel and Low/High gain, allowing for optimal transformer selection based on the chosen impedance group. Additionally, it supports balanced inputs that can receive differential signals from MC cartridges without loss of output energy, improving left-right stereo separation and image localization. The input options include one balanced pair (XLR) and two unbalanced pairs (RCA) terminals, enabling the construction of versatile analog playback environments through connection with various amplifier devices.
