Our latest amplification feedback engine brings music to life with LIFES Version 1.0  Luxman will celebrate our 100th anniversary in 2025 and we are proud to announce the successor to our ODNF* feedback circuitry, which has contributed to the audio quality of our amplifier products since 1999. We have developed a new amplifier feedback circuit, LIFES*, which has acquired realistic, fresh and rich musicality and overwhelming audio performance. LIFES is based on the technical concept of our epoch-making ODNF circuit and realizes excellent, dynamic characteristics without feeding back any of the original audio input signal to the main amplifier, achieving a remarkably natural sound quality, almost if it were a non-feedback equipped circuit. The design has been conceived and expanded upon from first principles using simulation technology and painstaking research. By repeatedly auditioning, rigorously scrutinizing and combining specially selected components, we have achieved supreme performance characteristics and a level of quality suitable for use in Luxman’s next-generation products. In producing LIFES Version 1.0, by carefully reimagining the entire circuit, we succeeded in reducing the number of paralleled elements while improving performance. The distortion in the amplification stage has been reduced to less than half of our previous system. The output stage features a 3-stage Darlington triple-paralleled push-pull configuration and achieves a class AB power output of 110W+110W (8O) and 210W+210W (4O). The high output power, comparable to that of a separate power amplifier, effortlessly realizes a natural soundstage, full of energy, to confidently drive any compatible speaker system, and bring out the best of its characteristics.

Looking ahead to the 100th anniversary of our founding in 2025, we have returned to the fundamentals of music playback and have finally achieved a LUXMAN milestone, while still looking toward the future, we present our new generation flagship stereo power amplifier, the M-10X.

The most important innovation is the realization of our new amplification feedback engine “LIFES”, which has been developed and refined through the skillful attention of LUXMAN’s technical team. While based on our traditional ODNF technology, we implemented a fundamental review of the system and every detail from the layout down to individual components which all contribute to a rich musicality, full of vitality.

High performance drivability enhances playback through any speaker system. A beautiful chassis housing design, with blasted white finish, is proudly complimented with proper analog meters. This exquisite flagship model, the M-10X, can evoke what we mean by the true depth of sound, marking the beginning of a new era for LUXMAN.

Our latest amplification feedback engine literally brings music to life with LIFES* Version 1.0.  Electronically controlled attenuator LECUA-EX* incorporating an elaborate rotation mechanism.  Highly regulated power supply featuring a bespoke, highly regulated 600VA El transformer and newly developed large-capacity filter capacitors (10,000μFx 8).

The built-in high-quality phono equalizer circuit, which supports both MM and MC cartridges, features a new two-step gain switch to select between high and low MC settings to accommodate a wider range of MC cartridges, enriching quality vinyl playback in terms of both operation and sound quality. And a Mute-Button is now featured on the front panel.  3-band tone control In addition to BASS and TREBLE, a new MIDDLE control effective in the vocal and lead instrument frequencies bandwidth has been included. Luxman C-10X Control Amplifier

Direct, three-dimensional connections between fully balanced amplifier circuit and attenuator.  As a flagship model that stands at the top of our lineup, the C-10X not only has high-performance preamplifier circuitry that confidently drives the power amplifiers connected in the following stage, but also has a rich array of functions as a control center that adjusts the environment of the entire audio system. Preamplifier gain has been increased to 15dB (previous model C-900u had 12dB), allowing accurate handling of a wide range of levels from various input sources without distortion. In addition to a variety of output mode switching functions that allow you to select unbalanced, balanced or bi-amplified configuration, depending on your system, you can also use the volume shift function in 0.5dB steps via the electronically controlled attenuator LECUA-EX main volume control system. This allows you to adjust left and right balance (L: -6dB to R: -6dB) without causing deterioration, adjust the level for each output system in bi-amp mode (±6dB for each system) and adjust the output level for different listening situations. If it also equipped with an input offset function (0 to -6dB for each input terminal) that allows you to align the levels of multiple input devices, achieving a wide variety of control functions despite its simple circuit configuration.

Abundant functions and easy-to-operate remote control  The C-10X features an electronically controlled bass/treble tone control, a volume-linked loudness function that matches human hearing characteristics, an external pre-input terminal that can directly connect to the pre-output of an AV amplifier. A balanced connection phase preset function that can be set independently is provided. Also included is an aluminum remote control that providing comfortable operation of most of the C-10X’s functions at your fingertips.  Newly developed weight rotation mechanism The LECUA-EX volume control combines a high-precision rotary encoder with a newly developed weighted rotation mechanism to achieve high reliability and a high-quality feel as you rotate the large, machined aluminum knob over 192 discrete steps from 0 to 95.5dB. A tactile setting that smoothly accelerates the volume increase/decrease by increasing rotation speed or pressing and holding the remote control, provides a comfortable volume operation that surpasses conventional volume devices that use variable resistors.

Highly regulated power supply.  In order to embody the idea of abundant energy that accurately drives the power amplifier stage within sufficient margins, the power supply section of the C-10X is equipped with a powerful CI core type power transformer and seven custom specified 3,300 μF filter capacitors achieve dedicated highly stable power supply smoothing for each channel. Clean and stable regulation suppresses voltage fluctuations due to load.

100 μm thick non-angled wiring pattern.  All audio circuit boards in the C-10X uses a 100 μm- thick non resistive gold-plated peel-coated substrate that eliminates the resistivity coating which adversely affects sound quality due to dielectric effects. Carefully selected, high-quality components.  For the capacitors and resistors in the audio signal path, we have used a large number of custom designed components that prioritize sound quality. Original OFC cable is used for internal wiring. Luxman E-250 - Phono Amplifier

The E-250 is the latest phono amplifier from LUXMAN, inheriting the best in design from its predecessor the E-200 that has been the reference model for compact phono equalizer amplifiers since it was released in 2008. A newly added function to the E-250 is the switching capability of load impedance and load capacity according to the cartridge characteristics for the ultimate enjoyment of the original detail of analog reproduction. The E-250 allows the listener to adjust the fine settings for every performance, releasing the expression engraved in the grooves and creating a hitherto unknown musical impression.

The rear panel is equipped with a load impedance selector (34k/47k/56k/100kO) and a load capacity selector (0p/100p/220p/320pF) to match the characteristics of the cartridge and exploiting it to its full potential.

Specially Selected Embedded MC Transformer

The E-250 features a step-up transformer with a 2 stage gain selection function in which a L/R independent super permalloy core is used, thereby supporting even low impedance MC cartridges. This creates a rich and expressive musicality that is only possible by boosting of the transformer.

The newly developed low profile, large capacity block capacitor together with a regulator circuit with discrete configuration that are used in the power supply circuit achieve the desired high quality power supply environment. The E-250 power supply circuit also features LUXMAN’s original round pattern board allowing the smooth transmission of the delicate sound signals.

The articulation function is designed to demagnetize the cartridge and the MC transformer using the signal current of music reproduced when magnetization of the cartridge has caused the sound quality to deteriorate. The articulation function can help to restore the cartridge to its original characteristics and maintain quality at a maximum level.

The NF type equalizer circuit in the E-250 features many of LUXMAN’s original and custom built parts. This equalizer has a high S/N ratio which reduces noise by connecting the first stage FET in parallel. A monaural switch when playing a monaural record is provided as well as a low cut switch that cuts out low frequency signals that can be generated by distorted records.

The input can be selected from the front panel with ‘one touch’ operation from 2 players or a player with a twin arm. The option to easily change the cartridge type with respect to the input allows a favourite cartridge to be chosen for each phonograph record.

The front panel design of the E-250 is finished with blaster white and offers lever type control switches on a compact sized body. This mechanically designed layout exudes a sense of class. * Specifications and appearance are subject to change without notice.
